Growing up as a percussionist in a high school band program, I remember loving getting the chance to play mallet keyboards, but feeling like we were restricted to only using instruments at school. At the time, I wished that manufacturers would sell the 5 octave concert acoustic instruments with the keyboard only. This way, I could have something to play on at home just like every other instrument did.

With just a belt sander, router, and chop saw in late 2019, I founded Sonaris Percussion striving to find a common sense solution to this high financial barrier of 5 octave keyboards. I have never lost sight of that goal and feel grateful to my suppliers in Buffalo and Rochester who help me achieve it every day.  – Greg
